After a few small delays and setbacks my new studio is now open to the public. I am so pleased with the way the studio worked out, a beautiful space with a fantastic view overlooking the Parade and Kilkenny Castle. For the moment I'm open 10-5.30 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Plenty of work on display and of course still available for private commissions. Pop in to see me, First Floor 19 Rose Inn Street, Kilkenny!!
I feel very fortunate to have been featured in the Irish Times Gloss Magazine this week. Come see this Gold ring and meet me at the RDS Craft and Design Fair this week. I'm on the Balcony, Stand B44!
Open until 7pm this Saturday and Sunday.
Delighted to have my miniature decorative teapot Punk Rocker showing as part of the Feast of Silver exhibition at Fortnum & Mason, Piccadilly London until November 2nd.
I have had a lot of repairs through the studio in the last few months including a few re-workings of gold rings. These are my favourite two; The first is a delicate Ruby ring which was completely refurbished and then modernised by being placed over a wide 18ct white gold ring. The second was a traditional diamond cluster ring with a dark blue sapphire in the centre which I replaced with a bright pink Tourmaline gemstone which really lifts the piece.
Just putting the finishing touches on the new Architect range. A contemporary twist on how to wear pearls! These are different enough to work really well together as a set or as stand alone pieces. Made using traditional forging and forming techniques they are finished with contrasting high polished and mat sandblasted surfaces.
Nice little mention in the weekend paper yesterday! Thanks to the Design House & The Irish Independent Weekend Magazine!
The latest addition to the Disc Range. These pieces are all hand formed using silver and freshwater pearls. Select pieces are gold plated but all of these pieces can be ordered in 18ct yellow gold if desired. This new "Summer Disc" range is now available in The Design House.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Yvonne Ross Jewellery St Patrick's day draw. Unfortunately there can only be one winner and my impartial judge is responsible for picking the winning name. Congratulations Katie Ryan!!! The Disc range is stocked at The Design House, 43 Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
To celebrate the recent launch of our new website and our even more recent introduction to twitter we are currently running a draw via the Yvonne Ross Jewellery facebook page with a fab prize of one of these beautiful rings from the eye catching "Disc" range. The winner will have their choice of gemstone from Amethest, Citrine, Peridot, Blue Topaz and Garnet.
