Thank you to everyone who came along to the annual Made in Kilkenny Exhibition in Butler House last week. For anyone who didn't make it this is one of the pieces I had on display, Forged 18ct yellow gold "Neume" ring. The theme of the show was "Rhythm in the making" so I took inspiration from the old Christian chanting music which was used simple square music notes called Neumes which were the pedecesor to the contemporary five-line staff notation.
As promised here's the new 18ct white gold Mechanical Flower Ring! This piece has a central 0.23ct brilliant cut diamond (Clarity VS1, Colour E/Rare White) and a small brilliant cut diamond pave set in each petal! (excuse the amateur snap)

I was really delighted to see one of my pendants on the invitation for the National Craft & Design Fair this year. It runs from the 2nd to the 6th of December in the RDS & as an exhibitor I have some free passes for clients so please email me with your address if your thinking of going. I've been getting some lovely engagement ring commissions recently. This one is particularly pretty made in white gold with two brilliant cut diamonds and a cushion shaped top quality aquamarine as the central stone... congratulations to the lovely happy couple!!

Lots of wedding anniversaries this time of year and here's one of the special commissions I've made recentlyfor a 40th wedding anniversary. The Ruby is 1.02ct surrounded by 0.30ct of brilliant cut diamonds in a forged 18ct yellow gold ring. This was a surprise gift... lovely to see this kind of romantic gesture after 40 years!
Been working away in the studio on a few new shiny things. This is my favourite recent piece... the sunshine ring... a large Citrine gemstone set in a clean, uncomplicated & modern 18ct yellow gold ring with 18ct white gold detail. A few more interesting pieces to come over the next couple of weeks... photos to follow!!
